Dark Side Of The Moog CD
As our final major project on the first year of our course, we were asked to create an entire identity for electronic music label Ambient World. As part of that assignment, we also had to choose an album that had not yet been released on the AW label and create a new CD design.
I chose The Dark Side Of The Moog X, purely because I liked the sound of the name. After listening to the CD extensively I decided I would focus on a visual representation of the music. I discovered the album had quite an eerie feel to it, so I made sure any imagery used on the CD case looked slightly surreal.
All photographs were taken in Wakefield. The text on the front cover of the album is my personal feelings about the album, without any punctuation.
